Reflections on Boston

Boston is my true love. I love London, New York and DC, but Boston has a charm that strikes a chord in me. I like the cobble stone, the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and Celtics. You can even throw in The Revolution. I love the T, China town, the politics, the Dunkin Doughnuts, the Universities, the chinese food, the Common and the Public Gardens. I love Cambridge, Newberry street, Harvard Square, Fanueil Hall, The North End. I love Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Naushon.

It's also where my close friends and family are. You can't really appreciate that until you have moved away and explored something else.

I had a great weekend at home. Friday I got a little too drunk. My uncle came over for dinner and him, my dad and I watched football and drank. Then Teng came to pick me up and we met up with Chris, Liz and Kim and headed for a night of fun in Boston. I think the highlight may have been my dance moves on a bench in the middle of Fanueil Hall.

Saturday was my sister's BBQ. It was fantastic. Lots of old faces and a few new ones. I was on top of my beer pong game that day. The food was fantastic. It was funny to see all the little kids hang out in the basement cause that is what me and my older cousins use to do.

Sunday I spent with the fam and then went out anyway even though I had to wake up at 5:30am for a flight. However, it was an awesome night! How can you go wrong with Latin night at Club-Q? Not exactly my style but who cares when you're with friends.

other highlights:

Wedding Crasher's is hilarious

Got planning on the 5th year reunion...sorta

Hercules, Hercules

Saw the beach...too cloudy and high tide

Other conclusions:

Hercules is getting old. It was kinda sad. My family is a little dissappointed in my dissing law school, but they are supportive in what I want to do. Missed Matt, Annie, and Ravi. I don't know if I can live at home. I really like being on my own and being in a city. We'll see. Sometimes the sacrafices we make now are for the pay offs in the future.

A pair of mating flies landed on me today. That's as about as much action as I have seen in a while.

Anyway, (reffering to my last post) I'm kinda looking in the mirror now and telling myself I have to grow up a little.
