A little glitter in the glum

This is not a test. This is actual life. If this had been a test, failure would be an option and perhaps you could take the test again. This is actual life and there are no directions in which to pass it sucessfully. You will have your heart broken at least once, most likely more. If you haven't, then you missed out. You will be dissappointed. If you haven't, then you haven't expected enough. You will feel sweet satisfaction. If you haven't, you haven't worked hard enough. If you haven't felt purpose, then you have not been upset enough to be moved to a purpose.

This monday morning communting just gets to me. I had a great weekend with the boys and a great Sunday watching movies and hanging out by the pool, but I'm feeling the platue. I'm ready to kick it up a notch, put myself in gear six, use all eight cylinders, go into overtime, and make some major changes. Watching people honk in traffic and getting swished and elbowed by people on the metro sucks. All I need is a little glitter in the glum.. So excited about going back to Boston on Thursday!!!
