Getting Focused

Sorry I haven't given you anything to check out in a while, Teng. Sitting in a cube all day sucks. Sitting in an office isn't any better, except, well I got lots of plants. And my lucky money tree has gotten Ginormous!

So what have I been up to? I've realized I have a lot of testosterone. Perhaps a little too much for my own good. I think it's all the weight lifting I've been doing. I've gotten back at doing heavy squats. And for those who know me, I'm not one too be so testosteroned up, unless you count football. I'm usually a very calm guy. But most recently I've noticed myself getting mad about rude people on the train and at the office. I find myself grunting and yelling more at the gym. I think it has to do with the boredom of my job. I sit all day and my most intellectually challenging conversation may derive from whether Schilling should remain in the bullpen or if he should be back as the ace (btw..I think he should be the ace and have Bronson "I made a CD" Arroyo be the closer). Also, usually around this time of year I would either be playing basketball with the boys or getting ready for another season of football. Now, I have been training like I would be playing this year, but I'm not.

Testosterone is a funny thing. It makes you sweat a lot. It makes me want to drink a lot. Anyway, after this past weekend, I've realized I got to get focused.

I've think I found a profession and a focus that suites me. I think physical therapy is a profession I'd be both good and happy in. It's definetly a huge growing profession. The schooling looks tough. Most of the PT masters programs have been replaced by doctorate programs. A lot of the prerequisites for these Doctorate programs require science courses I never took at the college level. So first step is to take those classes. I'm pretty damn excited about going back to school. Actually, first step is to take the GREs. I guess if it were easy, everyone would do it. The thing for me is that even though I see the challenges ahead, I've been very focused thus far in the research process, hence my lack of writing in the past week.

I got a lot more to say, but work calls.
