It's Restuarant week in DC

The low-down on Restaurant week - link to the Big List

La Tasca is having a good deal and they have Flamenco dancers on some nights.

I have yet to try the new Italian place in Cleveland Park called Dino's but I've heard great things about it. The owner use to be an importer for Whole Foods so he knows where to get the freshest cheeses and meats. He also believes in reasonable pricing!

I've been to Fahrenheit once at the The Ritz-Carlton, Georgetown and OMG. It was the most amazing dinning experiance I've ever had. Good thing I was rolling with my friend Matt and his bosses who were high rolling jazz muscisians...seriously. One guy had one of his five mistressed in DC there.

Galileo looks good. They got a cooking class I hope to one day can afford to take.

Red Sage - Latin (Great Mojitos), Spezie - Classy Italian, Sonoma (I hear the service is slow, but good pizzas),

and Taberna del Alabardero, known as the best Spanish restuarant outside of Spain. I went there once for lunch and it was delicious! And it will cost you an arm and your first born to eat there during anyother time other than restuarant week.

Not on the Restuarant week list, but a place I really want to try out : Cafe Lunar- Skewers
Skewers is the Restuarant upstairs to Cafe Lunar and the food is kinda boring. But Cafe Lunar has an awesome looking atmosphere and half price gourmet pizza's on Sundays and Wednesdays. I lived in that nieghborhood for a whole year and only managed to get take out at Skewers (dissappointing), but I'm sure to go back soon. Perhaps Brunch. Check out the menu...it's inexpensive and looks good.

miss ya big toe.
